About

The Strong Woman Initiative  (TSWi) is an NGO aimed at empowering young women through skills, mentorship and motivational conferences FOR FREE. We intend to eliminate the excuse factor and help women become better versions of themselves by impacting & influencing their community/world.

We started in December 2015, had our first conference in the same year, and have had 6 more conferences since then (in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021), the 6th conference was just concluded on the 4th of December, watch it here. Interested in 2021 conference speakers? check them out here.

As an NGO, we have trained/are training, mentored/are mentoring over 50 young ladies. The TSWi team is chiefly made up of 6 young women who steer the wheels of things and ensure the process runs smoothly.

Since we have built a strong network of young women over the years who own or co-own businesses, we took things a step further by initiating a mini-business school & network base/community of female-owned businesses this year (2021). The first cohort was held in June 2021 & saw a myriad of female business owners from across Africa. All cohort sessions were handled by renowned & experienced faculties and professionals from across the globe. Since this is set to hold annually, we advise all female entrepreneurs & intending ones to register to attend the 2022 edition here, this is at NO COST to attendees.

Joining or supporting a network of strong women is the best way to build strength while standing tall!
